Office 2007

The primary difference between Office 2003 and 2007 is the “ribbon.” The ribbon is part of what Microsoft is calling a “fluent interface.”  The central premise is that menus appear when you need them.  It just looks prettier than a drop down menu.  

The following links will help answer your questions about the new Office 2007 suite.

Microsoft Applications E-Learning

Part of our Campus Agreement benefits provides access to high quality online instructional materials for Microsoft Applications including the Office 2007 applications Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Access.

This is a great way to become familiar with the new Office 2007 suite and its new toolbar, referred to as the "Fluent user interface."

Click “My Learning” and select the courses you like.  Notice that there are many MS Office 2003 classes listed BEFORE the 2007 classes.  Scroll down and select all of the courses that interest you.

Then click on “My Learning” and select the course you’d like to begin. 
Each course is an individual video instruction.
