ID provides Blinn faculty and staff with technology training, assistance in converting a course to distance learning, and help with updating courses to incorporate technology into the classroom to enhance learning.

Jean Anderson came to Blinn in the fall of 2008. Prior to working for Blinn, Jean worked for North Central Texas College (NCTC) as an eLearning technology specialist. Her background is in both education and technology. She has a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and began her teaching career in public schools before moving to higher education. She earned an Associate of Applied Science in Information and Computer Systems Technology and worked in NCTC's  Information Technology department for several years before moving to the eLearning department.  Her masters degree is in Adult Education and Distance Learning, which combines both the pedagogy and technology of learning in the 21st century.
