First Time User Login Screenshots

The first time you accesses http://mail.live.com you are presented with the following five sign-in screens:

                        1. Using a web browser, access http://mail.live.com

                        2. Sign in using your newly created email addresses. Firstname.LastnameLast2numbersStudentID@buc.blinn.edu

Step 1
You will be asked to reset your password

                        1. Enter your old password. Your old password is your Blinn Student ID number.

                        2. Enter your new password twice

                        3. Click Submit

Step 2

You will now be asked to login again to verify your identity.

                        1. Provide your new password once more

                        2. Click Sign In

Step 3

Windows Live also wants a secret question and answer – to be used if you forget your password.

                        1. Enter your password yet again.

                        2. Select a secret question.

                        3. Provide a secret answer.

OPTIONAL: Windows Live also wants an alternate email address to help with resets.

                        1. Add an alternate email address.

                        2. Retype it.

                        3. Click Submit.

Step 4

You will now be asked for some personal profile information.
