Interactive Video Conference:
Academic Technology maintains nine Tandberg room systems and
four VCON conference room systems in cooperation with the Distance
Education department. The equipment is used to teach classes between
campuses and area high schools, conduct meetings and bring in
guest speakers.
To view the current room and system reservations
use the online
calendar. Once there, select a room from the drop
down menu.
To request a room reservation please fill out
the IVC request form.
You will receive a confirmation of your reservation via e-mail

High Definition Tandberg rooms: Brenham Bullock
120, 136, and Bryan E205A, E205B, H132 are Educator dual High
Definition camera systems that conference at 1.1 Mbps and 720p
resolution. The rooms include two front and one rear high definition
displays. The Sealy 108 IVC room has one high definition camera
and two high definition monitors in the front of room. The rooms
also include Smarter Technologies' Sympodiums, VGA resolution
document cameras and PCs
Standard Definition Tandberg rooms: the Tandberg
Educators are a two camera, three monitor room systems with Smarter
Technologies Sympodiums, document cameras and PCs. Their locations
are Brenham B136; ; Schulenburg AN102 and AN110; Sealy 110.
Vcon: the Vcon Cruiser 384s are PC based with one camera one monitor.
They are primarily used for conference room meetings. Their locations
are Brenham Arts and Science 211, Bullock building and two in
Bryan 'E' building.
