Utilizing the Tegrity™ system

 

What it Can Do:

• Create a Welcome to class/Orientation video
• Record narrated PowerPoint presentation
• Record computer screen or Sympodium for procedure based courses
• Record audio with face-to-face lectures
• Pre-record lectures or pre-lecture activities with audio and/or video for online or face-to-face classes
• Allow students to record and upload their video or audio recordings for evaluation
• Record guest lectures
• Record student in-class presentations for students to peer review.
• Import existing video/audio into course
• Export recordings as podcasts or mobile phone compatible files

• Record to allow students to review material multiple times

• Record online student's taking exams (proctoring)

 

 

How to get started:

1. Need a microphone- recording in the office just requires a standard headset microphone; (Request a classroom microphone)

2. (Optional) video camera or USB QuickCam

3. Tegrity Recorder- from Your eCampus course or directly from eClips: http://eclips.blinn.edu

4. Login using your Blinn username and password.

• Add own bookmarks and comments live (via iPhone app) or later during viewing
