Partnerships

As the state's academic transfer leader, Blinn is committed to its students' success. That's why Blinn partners with a variety of the state's leading universities. Through these partnerships, Blinn students have access to seamless academic pathways that place them on the fast track to a bachelor's degree!

 

CAPS (Clear Affordable Pathway to Success)

The CAPS Program is a collaborative partnership between the Blinn College District and the University of Houston-Victoria (UHV). Through this program, students can follow a seamless pathway from Blinn to a bachelor's degree at UHV and co-enroll at both institutions before transitioning to full-time status as a UHV student.

 

RELLIS Academic Alliance

As the community college partner in the RELLIS Academic Alliance, students can complete their freshman- and sophomore-level courses at the RELLIS Campus in Bryan, Texas, then seamlessly complete their bachelor's degree in a related field from a regional university also located on the RELLIS Campus. Partner universities include Prairie View A&M, Stephen F. Austin State, Tarleton State, Texas A&M International, Texas A&M-Commerce, Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, Texas A&M-Kingsville, Texas A&M-Texarkana, and West Texas A&M.

 

TEAM Program

A collaborative, co-enrollment partnership between Texas A&M University and Blinn College that allows the admission of hundreds of additional qualified students into the Texas A&M freshman class that would not otherwise have been possible due to enrollment limitations. High school seniors interested in the TEAM Program must apply to Texas A&M University via the regular freshman admissions process at http://admissions.tamu.edu/freshman/apply.  

 

Texas A&M Engineering Academy at Blinn-Brenham

The Texas A&M Engineering Academy at Blinn-Brenham gives talented students an opportunity to pursue their engineering degree while co-enrolled at Texas A&M and Blinn College. Students in the academy take their math, science, and engineering courses on the Blinn-Brenham Campus together while living as a community in Blinn residential housing. Students who successfully complete the program with a minimum 3.75 GPA at Blinn and Texas A&M earn automatic admission to their first-choice engineering major.

 

Texas A&M Engineering at Blinn

Texas A&M Engineering at Blinn allows students to co-enroll at Blinn and the Texas A&M College of Engineering. Students take their Texas A&M courses on the Texas A&M campus and their Blinn courses on the RELLIS Campus in Bryan. Students who successfully complete the program with a minimum 3.75 GPA at Blinn and Texas A&M earn automatic admission to their first-choice engineering major.

 

Transfer Academy for Tomorrow's Engineers (TATE)

The TATE Program is a partnership with the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) College of Engineering that offers students a seamless pathway to a four-year bachelor's degree. Through this program, students co-enroll at both institutions, taking engineering courses taught by UTSA and Blinn faculty. Upon completion of the program, students transfer to UTSA to earn their bachelor's degree in one of six UTSA engineering degree programs.
