Dr. Ted Raspiller is president of Blinn College’s Brazos County campuses, a position he has held since November 2011. Prior to being named president, he served one year as provost of Brazos County Campuses, having returned to Blinn after serving at Old Dominion University as director and associate professor of Community College Leadership and chair of the Department of Educational Foundations and Leadership.
He completed his Ed.D. in adult continuing education at Northern Illinois University in 1998 and has served in a variety of two-year college faculty and administrative roles since 1989, including interim president/vice president for learning at Waukesha County Technical College in Wisconsin.
From 1999 to 2003, Dr. Raspiller was the dean of technical and workforce education at Blinn College in Bryan.
He has also held leadership and faculty roles in Illinois and Iowa including an adjunct faculty position in the Department of Counseling, Adult and Higher Education at Northern Illinois University.
Dr. Raspiller has been active in several national and international organizations including the Council for the Study of Community Colleges, League for Innovation in Community Colleges, Community Colleges for International Development and the Academy for Human Resource Development. He has presented on scholarly topics both nationally and internationally and is a published journal author in the United States and China.
