Dr. Harold Nolte
District President of Blinn College
Dr. Harold Nolte began his service as president in November, 2011. He is a veteran of higher education and administration and has served in leadership roles for more than three decades.
Prior to joining Blinn, Dr. Nolte was campus president for Navarro College's Ellis County campuses in Waxahachie, Texas. Before joining Navarro College, Dr. Nolte was vice president for student development at Kilgore College and district vice president for student services at Edison College in Fort Myers, Florida. He held a previous appointment at Navarro College as vice president for student services as well student service positions at Mississippi State University and South Plains College.
Dr. Nolte earned an associate’s degree at McLennan Community College in Waco and a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree at Baylor University. He earned his Ed.D. in educational leadership from Mississippi State University.
Dr. Nolte's wife, Lynn, is also an educator, and their daughter, Kathryn loves school and sports. Their daughter, Kristen, lives with her husband and family in Austin.
