While starting college is an exciting time for students the first year can be a trying time for students. The Texas A&M/Blinn College partnership programs are a unique and great opportunity, but they also include unique challenges for students. Blinn College wants all students to be successful and to help set our students up for success, we require all students entering into a partnership program to be advised.
To assist with ensuring students success we facilitate the advising requirement by offering Blinn College Advising Days* specifically designed for students in the Blinn TEAM and Texas A&M Engineering Academy at Blinn - Bryan. These advising days will allow for students to learn more about successfully navigating their respective program as well as being advised and assisted with registration for their first semester at Blinn College.
Registration is now open for all dates.
Students will be able to register for an available date after they have completed their admissions file with Blinn College. Once a student’s file is complete they will be able to access the registration system via their myBlinn portal. The link for registration will be located on the Personal Information tab. TEAM and Academy students will need to select the Blinn College Advising Day option. After a student has registered for a date and session, if they need to make any changes please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Due to space constraints students will be limited to bring a maximum of 2 guests to attend the event with them. No more than 2 guests will be admitted into the sessions with the student.
There will be a one-time registration fee for the Blinn College Advising event. Student’s registration is $25 and each guest (maximum of 2 allowed) will be $10 per person. Refunds will not be provided for cancellations.
Changes or Cancellation:
No need to re-submit a new registration for changes. If you need to change or cancel your Blinn College Advising Day session date and/or time for any reason send an email to email@example.com at least 48 hrs prior to the event. Space is limited and attendance will be determined based on order of registration and payment; therefore, we cannot guarantee availability for rescheduling of a date. Refunds will not be provided for cancellations.

Each day will have 5 different times to choose from and students should expect to be done in 3-4 hours.
*Please note that these dates are only for students that have been offered admissions by Texas A&M University to the TEAM/TEAB programs. Non-TEAM/TEAB students need to attend a Blinn New Student Orientation.
Checking in will be in the Bryan –CPC. Please arrive 10-15 minutes prior to your session start time to allow for parking and check in.
Attendees will be able to parking in the E Parking Lot at no charge.
Each registered attendee will be issues a dining voucher, good for the fall semester, to use at the Blinn dining facility. You will receive the voucher(s) at check-in.
