Applicant Agreement

As an applicant, it is my understanding that I am agreeing to:

  1. Attend class sessions and complete the required assignments for class. Missing more than two class sessions will require the student to repeat and pay for that trimester the first time it is available.
  2. Obtain signatures from the consulting dietitian and administrator agreeing to provide the required On-the-Job Training and supervision for the course.

Tuition and Fees

The issuance of the Dietary Managers' Certificate by Blinn College District Applied Technology, Workforce & Economic Development requires completion of Fall, Spring, and Summer sessions with no more than two absences for the entire course.

Refund Policy

For classes that meet more than eight times:

  • To receive a full refund, the student must notify Applied Technology, Workforce & Economic Development 48 business hours (two business days) before the course start date.
  • An 80% refund will be given before the second class.
  • A 50% refund will be given before the third class.
  • No refund will be given after the third class.

Dietary Manager Program Schedule

Classes are scheduled to meet two days per month for one year. Class meets on Thursday and Friday, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., at 100 Ranger Drive, Schulenburg, Texas.

Textbooks are required for class and are available from ANFP at ANFPonline.org or by calling 800-323-1908.

Order your books well in advance and allow time to receive them before your first class.

You will need the following two books for the first day of class:

  • Nutrition Fundamentals and Medical Nutrition Therapy, 4th ed. — TXT501
  • Foodservice Management by Design, 4th ed. — TXT502

Go to www.anfponline.org. Under the Education tab, select Student Resource Center, scroll to Student Textbooks, read the directions, and select the Order Textbooks button.
