Blinn freshman named to All-Region, All-American teams

The NJCAA selected Blinn College guard Kahlil McDonald a Third Team All-American. The 6’4” freshman from Brooklyn, NY, also made the All-Region XIV First Team. McDonald led the region in scoring with 21.4 points per game during the regular season. He scored 48 points in Blinn’s two games at the regional tournament. The Buccaneers finished with a 23-9 record. |

Blinn Men Win Opening Game at the Region XIV Tourney
The Blinn College Men's Basketball team defeated Lee College 63-57 in the first round of the Region XIV Basketball Tournament hosted by UT Tyler. With the win the Bucs (23-8) will face the #3 seed in Tyler Junior College.

Blinn Men's Basketball Rolls San Jac
In what has become one of the best seasons in school history the Blinn College Men's Basketball team defeated San Jacinto College 98-66. With the win the Bucs are currently 22-8 overall and 12-7 in Region XIV play. With the upcoming Region XIV Tournament the Bucs are a likely a top 6 seed. The tournament begins Thrusday, March 5th.

Blinn Men's Basketball Continues its Win Streak
The Blinn College Men's Basketball team defeated Lee College 93-77 in Baytown, TX. It isn't an ordinary win, the defeat of Lee College marks the fifth straight win for the Bucs, all of the games have been against fellow Region XIV foes. Blinn improves to 11-6 in Region XIV play and 21-7 overall.

Blinn Men's Basketball Makes it Four
The Blinn College Men's Basketball team is making a little history of it's own. The Bucs have won four consecutive Region XIV game and six of the last seven. Tonight the Blinn improves to 20-7 overall and 10-6 in Region XIV play, with a 90-81 win over Lamar State- Port Arthur. The Bucs were led by Kahlil McDonald with 22 points. They return to action Saturday at Lee College.

Before a packed house the Blinn College Men's Basketball team fell to Tyler Junior College 70-78. The Bucs were lead by Kahlil McDonald with 17 points. The Blinn Men fall to16-7 overall and 6-6 in Region XIV play. They return to action as part of a doubleheader with the Blinn Women on Saturday versus Angelina College, games begining at 2pm.

The Blinn College Men's Basketball team rebounded from two consecutive losses by dropping Kilgore College 73-64 in a match up of Region XIV teams. The Bucs improve to 15-6 overall and 5-5 in Region XIV play. The Buc's return home next Wednesday, February 4th to face Tyler Junior College.
