DANCE TEAM APPLICATION

I ______________________________________, submit this application for the Blinn College Dance Team tryout. My academic classification is/will be ____________and my Blinn College Grade Point Average/Current School (GPA) is ______________. In submitting this application, I understand and agree to the following.

1. My academic standing and my GPA will be verified by the Treasure Advisor. I must have at least a 2.0 college GPA or be accepted to Blinn College. I must not be on academic or disciplinary probation. Any of the above will immediately disqualify me trying out for this position.

2. I must maintain a 1.75 GPA the first semester if chosen to hold a scholarship. The second semester I must maintain a 2.0 GPA and non-probationary standing while taking at least a full academic load to serve on the Treasures if selected.

3. If selected, I will attend all scheduled practices, classes, performances, summer camp and other designated functions/duties.

I understand and accept that failure to meet any of the above items will result in my disqualification from consideration/participation. I also agree that if selected, I will fully abide by the Treasure Constitution.

I accept and understand that there is no specific amount of dancers selected. The decision of the judges will be final!
