Mr. Meinecke was born in Los Angeles, California. He was raised in Hot Springs, Arkansas and Stillwater, Oklahoma. He moved to the Bryan/College Station area in 1960. He enjoys most sports including fishing and golf. He has been affiliated with the following sports: baseball, football, track, and basketball.

Mr. Meinecke is married and has 3 children, 2 girls and 1 boy.

Mr. Meinecke received his Masters degree from Texas A&M University.

Mr. Meinecke joined Blinn in 1999. He has been teaching Scuba classes since 2001. In the past he has taught golf, weight training, racquetball, scuba and various other activity classes. He was also Head of SCUBA at Texas A&M University for over 25 years.
