Craig Lowrie was born in San Antonio, but was raised in Hershey, Pennsylvania where he found a passion for strength and conditioning.  While attending college in Philadelphia, he was the starting corner back and outside linebacker for the Lancaster Lightning, a semi professional football team located in central Pennsylvania.  He is an avid snowboarder and enjoys travelling throughout world seeking various adventures.

In May 2009, he obtained his Bachelor of Science degree at Cabrini College in Radnor, Pennsylvania in exercise science and health promotion.  During his undergraduate program, he had the opportunities to intern with Athletes Advantage (sports performance institute) and Cardio Kinetics (stress test and exercise prescription facility).  Following a family legacy, he graduated from Texas A&M University with a Master of Science degree in Kinesiology, with a concentration of Sport Physiology in December, 2010.

Along his journey, he became a certified personal trainer with the American College of Sports Medicine in September, 2008.  He later became a certified strength and conditioning specialist with the National Strength and Conditioning Association in June, 2010.  Besides teaching beginning strength training as well as fitness and conditioning classes at Blinn College, he volunteers at Texas A&M University to assist in the strength and conditioning of some of the top athletes in the nation.
