Mr. Brian Roper is a native Houstonian that has been a part of the Blinn College family since December 1999.  Mr. Roper joined the Blinn system as Head Baseball Coach of the Buccaneers, and Health Instructor on the Brenham campus.  He moved to the Bryan campus in August 2007 to become a full-time Health and Kinesiology Instructor.

Before Blinn, Mr. Roper was the Head Baseball Coach and Health Instructor at Howard College in Big Spring, Texas from 1992 to 1999.  In all, Mr. Roper has worked 20 years in education at either the Community College, or High School level.

A graduate of Bellaire High School, Mr. Roper received a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education, and a Masters of Education in Sports Administration.  Both of his degrees are from Texas Tech University.

Brian and his wife Karla reside in Brenham with their 3 children Emily, Brady, and Trevor.
