Mr. Garcia was born in Mercedes, Texas and spent most of my younger years in Houston. He has lived mostly in the Bryan-College Station area since 1983. In addition to his obvious interest in billiards, he loves to follow the political scene and enjoy his musical CD collection by listening and adding to it.

Mr. Garcia received his Bachelor of Science in Economics and Math from Texas A&M in 1976. He has taken graduate level classes in Economics at Texas A&M. In addition, he is trained as a licensed stock broker with the firm Dean Witter in New York City.

Mr. Garcia joined Blinn College's Kinesiology Department in 1993 and he teaches Beginning Billiards.

In 1997, Mr. Garcia was a member of a 5 man team that won first place in national competition in the game of Equal Offense Billiards.  Robert has also served as President of the CENTEL 8 Ball League.
