Mrs. Amanda Brown

Mrs. Brown was raised in Houston, Texas where she found a passion for fitness. She moved to College Station in June 2007 after marrying the love of her life. She enjoys running, gardening, and spending time with her family. The Brown's have one child, Ronin Augustus. When not busy at home or school, Mrs. Brown enjoys volunteering and amateur wildlife photography.
Mrs. Brown graduated from Austin College with a Bachelors degree in Biology, Psychology and Exercise Physiology. She obtained her Master of Science degree in Zoology from Texas Tech University. While at TTU, she traveled extensively throughout Central and South America, researching Hantavirus for the CDC and observing predator-prey relationships of carnivores.
Amanda joined Blinn in August 2007. She teaches in both the Health/Kinesiology and Natural Sciences Departments. This semester she tones and strengthens bodies in Abs and Glutes Conditioning, while educating youth about the marvels of the natural world in Biology 1407.
