ABOUT
Sally Deuermeyer hails from Minneapolis, Minnesota, but has been a resident of College Station since December of 1978. Her educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts degree in biology from the University of Minnesota and a Master of Science degree in audiology and speech sciences from Purdue University. Professional memberships have included and include the American Speech-Language Association, the Texas Speech and Hearing Association, the Texas Community College Teacher's Association and the honor society of Phi Kappa Phi, of which she is a lifetime member. Prior to her tenure at Blinn College, she worked as licensed speech-language pathologist in a variety of settings; including hospital, schools and a bit of private practice. She recently marked her ten-year anniversary as a faculty member of the Fine Arts department of Blinn College. Past and present teaching assignments as well as interests have included the public speaking and voice and diction courses: SPCH 1315 and SPCH 1342. She is also currently serving on the committee of The Blinn College Speakers Bureau.
Sally is married to Bryan Deuermeyer, who is a member of the Industrial Engineering faculty of Texas A&M University and has twin daughters: Anne and Beth, TAMU classes of 05 and 06, respectively.
