ABOUT

Cheryl Lozano-Whitten is currently working on her PhD in Rhetoric and Public Affairs. She graduated with her B.A. magna cum laude from St. Edward's University in Austin and her M.A. from Texas A&M University. Her thesis was titled, "Father Forgive Me For I Have Sinned: Strategies of Apologia Used by the Roman Catholic Church in Addressing the Sexual Abuse Crisis." Cheryl is currently teaching COMM 243 Argumentation and Debate and has taught COMM 203 Public Speaking for several years. Cheryl is married with three grown daughters and two grandsons, Julian and Eli and another grandbaby due in late April. In her spare time, she enjoys going for rides with her husband on their Harley in the hill country.
