Purdue University
Master of Science-Speech-Language Pathology major and Audiology minor. Awarded December, 1978.

Supplemental coursework, and continuing education credits completed at Texas A&M University, Sam Houston State University and through correspondence.


Blinn College (Spring 1992-present)
Teaching position as faculty member in the Fine Arts Department.
Classes presently taught include SPCH 1315, Public Speaking and SPCH 1321, Business and Professional Speaking. Classes taught also include SPCH 1311, Introduction to Speech and SPCH 1342, Voice and Diction.
Member, Blinn College Speakers Bureau.

College Station Independent School District (Fall 1981- 1984 and Fall 1986- 1989)
Faculty position as a speech-language pathologist. Duties included working with a wide range of students aged 3-22. Diagnostic assessment, intervention and report writing was required. Provided intern supervision required for staff members to complete requirements for certification. Position demanded close interaction with parents, other faculty members, administration, other school personnel and medical providers in the community.

Navasota Independent School District (Fall 1985- 1986)
Faculty position as a speech-language pathologist. Duties same as for the College Station ISD.

Bryan Independent School District (Spring Semester 1981)
Faculty position as speech-language pathologist. Student teacher supervision. Evaluated, provided feedback and encouraged professional growth for student teaching internship.
