Cherry has worked as Artist-In-Residence at a federal prison and taught art in public schools and at the college level. She has also worked as a hospital chaplain. Now, when she isn’t teaching painting at Blinn, she can be found working as a chaplain for Hospice Brazos Valley in Bryan, Texas.
